My Pretty Girl

Here are some current pictures of Evie. I have been really bad about taking pictures of her. We all love ourselves some Evie Grace. She is two, and a sinner, so has started the training. But she is SO cute and we love her so much. She is SO vocal, talking and singing all the time. She will listen to Eli and looks to him for sure, TJ is super sweet to her. He will give her anything, drop anything to help her, he covers his ears whenever she gets corrected (so sweet) and she loves him so much. And "Logey" or "Loges" as she call him, is her playmate. If he jumps she jumps, if he makes a noise she copies it. Logey is her playmate, he can't help her with anything, she definitely sees him as an equal. We love her!

Right after spring break my parents took our big family to Disneyland. It was SO fun, the kids loved it! Eli rode his first roller coaster in California Adventure. TJ was super funny, he hates rides but he would totally trust Troy so he rode Tower of Terror and Indiana Jones among other rides, but only if he could ride with Troy. Logan loves a good time, any way, any where, so naturally he loves Disneyland and he is willing to do anything. Evie loves rides, she is crazy. We really tried to get her on stuff, but she is still a little to short, but she LOVED all the princess stuff. And she REALLY loved the fireworks show, I realized she hadn't really seen fireworks, because the last 4th of July we were in AK where it doesn't get dark. So it was super exciting for her.
It is so fun to be together with the Fillemans, my parents, and my grandma. It is so great to have cousins together and to build memories together. We had a great time!! Thanks grandma and Papa!!

TJ Graduates!

TJ graduated this week from his preschool. It was SUPER cute and he loved being the "star" and having all my attention. It was a great day because he got to "graduate" and have a water day AND they celebrated his summer birthday. It was so fun to just hang out with him. He is such a sweet heart. His teacher said he works hard, and is her smart boy. :) I have loved having him around this past year and he has loved going to preschool. SO SO SO sad he will start Kindergarten next year.
A couple of weeks ago TJ had a mothers day program at his school. It is a day when I went with him to school, and he did my makeup, hair, nails, and sang songs to me and we have food together. He has been looking forward to this day since Eli had his mothers day thing 2 years ago, so he was SUPER into it. He dressed up and was so cute all day. It was so fun. I love this boy so much and his sweet heart to how he loves me and everyone in our family.

In the first video he is smiling at me, he thought I was taking his picture not video, I LOVE his sweet smile. And I LOVE how proud and cute he looks walking in to his "graduation".

Here are some funny/sweet things my kiddos have been doing or saying.

Last night TJ prayed for dinner:
TJ praying tonight; "....and thank you God for tv. And thank you for the electricity so we can plug our tv in and thank you for colors so we can see our tv..."

Logan has been telling me: "if you do ______ I will give you 40,000 kisses" Gets me every time, probably why he keeps saying it.

Eli had his last BSF last week, and as he normally does he came home super encouraged. He got to bring home his hymn book and he lays in bed and sings. His favorite him, is "tis so sweet to trust in Jesus" SO SO SO sweet to hear your son singing in his bed. The singing has also lead to him praying alone at night. Very encouraging.

This was also SUPER encouraging to me.
Logan goes outside.
Me: Logey shut the door
Logan: No TJ opened it (awesome my son just told me NO!??! what is that)
Me: Logan, what did I ask you to do?
Logan: Shut the door
Me: and what did you say?
Logan: No
Me: and what does that mean?
Logan: ALWAYS he responds in these exchanges with "correction" always always always. BUT today he responded with "sin"
That was super encouraging to me that he could identify his sin. So thankful that he is seeing his sin. First step in seeing his need for a Savior.

Evie has been full of funny statements lately. She has started singing all the time. While we drive, while she plays, while we eat, she is always singing. Super cute. And another funny thing, my boys build ships with there legos, they call most things ships so we have a lot of ships around here, and a lot of ship conversations. It is VERY funny to hear Evie say "ship" ;) "I want a ship", "Look at Logeys ship" etc. FUNNY.
Of course I can not catch her singing, well to be honest I have only tried once, and it was when we were "trapped" in the car way after bed time while Troy ran in to a sprinkler store "real quick" ;) but you can hear Logan, Evie and me :/ at least you can hear their sweet voices
